The Role

We're seeking a Database Administrator / Database Developer to join our IT team and take ownership of our data infrastructure. This role combines the technical depth of database administration with the creative challenge of software development—perfect for someone who loves both keeping systems running smoothly and building innovative solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop & Optimize – Design and build software solutions that leverage our database infrastructure
• Analyze & Insight – Perform data analysis to uncover trends, support decision-making, and drive business intelligence
• Create Reports – Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that transform raw data into actionable insights
• Consult & Improve – Work with stakeholders on process analysis and recommend technical solutions to business challenges
• Ensure Quality – Test database systems, applications, and processes to maintain reliability and performance
• Document Everything – Create clear, thorough documentation for systems, processes, and solutions
• Maintain & Secure – Administer database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance

What We're Looking For

Required

• Strong experience with database administration and development
• Proficiency in SQL and database design principles
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Solid understanding of system administration concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to bridge technical and business requirements
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder consultation

Nice to Have

• Experience with business intelligence platforms
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• Background in process optimization or business analysis
