Group Financial Controller

APS is a distressed assets investment company and debt recovery platform with a prime position in Central and South-Eastern Europe and further expansion goals. Our business consists of acquiring, advising, and servicing non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios.

For our Group Financial Controlling team, we are looking for a new colleague for the position of Group Financial Controller.

What will you do?

  • Lead the controlling of monthly management reports, ensuring utmost accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain streamlined reporting templates, optimizing processes for enhanced efficiency.
  • Collaborate with international subsidiaries and local departments, fostering seamless communication and coordination.
  • Review financial statements of subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to stringent financial standards.
  • Take charge of budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful reports and comprehensive analysis.
  • Prepare financial summaries for assigned subsidiaries, enabling effective decision-making.
  • Play a key role in setting up robust reporting in our Power BI system.
  • Drive group consolidation efforts according to IFRS standards, ensuring financial integrity.
  • Contribute to strategic financial planning, steering our Group towards continued growth and success.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks such as valuations and case studies, expanding your skill set.

 

What do we expect from you?

  • Economic university degree.
  • Showcase a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably from a reputable firm or the "big four."
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with a basic understanding of database systems as an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of CZ GAAP and IFRS, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Excel in executing assigned tasks with unwavering accuracy and efficiency.
  • Display independence, a result-oriented mindset, and a keen eye for analysis and technical proficiency.
  • Embrace a positive attitude, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Exhibit flexibility, reliability, and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
